About Us

IV Hydrate Cafe was founded by sisters Latoya Powell, RN and Latisha Powell, FNP. The Powell sisters were born to immigrant parents and were both raised in the Bronx. Latoya and Latisha attended nursing school in Westchester county, NY. They both served as registered nurses with over 10 years of experience combined in a very well known hospital in New York City. After the many years of working bedside, they made the decision to take their career to another level. Their wealth of knowledge blended with their passion for wellness allows them to help their clients achieve the most favorable levels of health through their IV vitamin infusions and injections.

 With over 10+ years of clinical nursing experience, including geriatrics, med- surg, and radiology, Latoya has decided to embark on an entrepreneurial journey. After working at the bedside for many years, she became increasingly passionate about preventative care with the help of vitamin infusion therapy. The everyday demands placed on us as a society can sometimes make it extremely difficult to take a step back to relax and focus on our personal wellbeing. Latoya has always dreamed of creating a beautiful safe space where she could use both her passion and clinical skills to help others feel their best!

Over 8 years of nursing experience working in women's health including postpartum and labor and delivery. Latisha is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with experience in internal medicine. Being a full-time mom to a toddler while working and caring for others, she understands just how easy it is to forget to care for ourselves. With our busy day-to-day lives, there is no question that our bodies can feel run down and depleted. Her growing passion for improving self-care and wellness lead to her interest in IV infusion therapy as one of the ways to help optimize our health. She plans to bring more awareness to the NYC area and has goals of improving the health and wellness to those in her community.
